Introduction about Long Son pagoda

Located on Trai Thuy hill, Long Son pagoda is also known as the White Buddha pagoda and was previously named Dang Long pagoda. Built in the 19th century, with many renovations, Long Son pagoda features the art of architecture and sculpture bearing the modern imprint.

On the way to the top of Trai Thuy hill, at the 44th step, you will admire the reclining Buddha statue made of marble on a finely carved background, depicting the scene of 49 disciples of the Buddha converging on the day Buddha passed away.

Bell tower

The second stop is a bell tower with the "Dai Hong Chung" (a kind of bells) weighing 1,500kg donated by Buddhists in Hue in 2002. The sound echoes in the middle of the vast forest, making the human heart more in-depth and the scenery more quiet in the solemn, peaceful space.

After climbing 193 steps to reach the top of the hill, you will finally be able to admire the white statue of the Buddha sitting between the vast blue sky as a symbol of Nha Trang. It is placed on a large and prominent lotus in the middle of Long Son pagoda space.
